Student Reflections

Reflections are how we practice as a community - when one person shares what they’re noticing, it helps the rest of us feel more supported. Here are a few reflections from course participants. Add your own to the wall.

Mondy a coworker asked if I was sad. I felt happy. She told me I looked sad. Tuesday a member of the leadership team, in a large meeting, suggested in a joking manner that I did something wrong. I hadn't. It felt like a mean person comment. Wednesday a new person attended yoga. They were very good, and I felt not so good. Thursday, after yoga, my muscles are sore.

Unpleasent event

Moments of joy: Pausing to reflect on all the wonderful moments during the weekend, soft sheets and a comfortable bed, the feeling of sunshine, the powerful bear pose in Qi Gong, lunch on the patio, seeing my son perform in the school play.

I made myself a post-it note that says body scan, and I'm putting it over my phone charger, where I set my phone, so I won't forget at night. :)
